Wisconsin basketball dropped from No. 17 on the Top 25 AP Poll to No. 21, but it could have been worse had the Badgers lost to the unranked Northwestern Wildcats on the road last Saturday. But thanks in large part to the heroics of senior Carter Gilmore, the Badgers were able to pull off a 75-69 come-from-behind win over the Wildcats.
Gilmore provided the spark Wisconsin basketball needed in the Wildcats game, as he scored seven points in a crucial stretch in the second half. He ended up with 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting with three 3-pointers and seven rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench.

In his first Instagram post since his unlikely performance against Northwestern, Gilmore shared some photos from that contest and captioned it with a Bible passage.

Wisconsin, which is now 17-5 overall and 7-4 against Big Ten schools so far in the 2024-25 college basketball season, is getting ready for its next assignment. The Badgers will take on the Indiana Hoosiers at Kohl Center in Madison this Tuesday before a road game against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.
