While the Wisconsin Badgers didn’t finish the 2023 NCAA football season the way they would have wanted, it was a good all-around season. At the end of the day, they ended up falling to the LSU Tigers by a final score of 35-31 in the RequiaQuest Bowl.
Granted, there were major frustrations throughout the course of the season. It’s hard not to feel like Wisconsin left something out on the field. But, the program is on a good course and have an opportunity to take another step next season.
In order to take that next step, Luke Fickell and company will need to add more talent to the roster. A lot of those additions will come via the transfer portal and the incoming recruiting class.
Wisconsin Badgers Make Offer To Intriguing DB In Transfer Portal
Speaking of the transfer portal, the Badgers have made an effort to improve their defensive secondary. According to Georgie Tech cornerback K.J. Wallace, who is in the transfer portal, Wisconsin has offered him.

Wallace was a key piece of the Georgia Tech defense in 2023. He would be a very nice addition for the Wisconsin Badgers if they are able to get the job done.
During the 2023 season with the Yellow Jackets, Wallace ended up recording 42 total tackles to go along with a sack, two forced fumbles, an interception, and seven defended passes. Those numbers show the kind of impact that Wallace is capable of putting up in the right situation.
Improving on the defensive side of the football would be a smart move for the Badgers. If they are able to add Wallace, they would take a big step in that direction.
