Class of 2027 prospect Korz Loken teased a month ago that he is about to make a decision about his future with 15 programs chasing him. Wisconsin Badgers football might have the advantage over anyone after one month of wooing.

Loken is growing into an in-demand national recruit since those months and had offers from more top programs.
“I ended up going to Notre Dame for a camp, Ohio State for a camp, Tennessee for a visit, I went to Auburn, Mississippi State for a visit, Alabama for a camp, and Florida State for a camp,” Loken said in an interview with Badger247.
Badgers remain in his horizon but they might have the advantage because of their recruitment strategies and the fact that he hails from Iola in Waupaca County.
“I love the Badgers,” he told Nick Osen.

“Just being an in-state guy, and they’ve definitely made a great effort to make me feel like I am wanted and am valued.”

Competition for Korz Loken is tight
The 6’5 tight end is a four-star prospect according to 247 Sports and Rivals with a 91.31 rating.
He got the attention early in his high school career because of his speed and size. He also has offers from Mississippi, Notre Dame, Northwestern, and Minnesota.
Badgers, which still has no commitment from any player for the Class of 2027, has been talking to Loken since they made an offer in August last year.
“It was really big for me. I grew up a Badgers fan. I grew up watching the Badgers. People that I know personally have played for the Badgers.”
