Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers strike again. This time it came in the form of a massive in-state four-star prospect that the Badgers have had their eye on since his freshman year. This commitment will protect the Wisconsin Badgers future quarterback Mabrey Mettauer.
Wisconsin Badgers Get Commitment From Four-Star Tackle Derek Jensen
Derek Jensen (Hartland, Wis.) will be staying home for his college ball. The Arrowhead offensive tackle committed to Wisconsin following Saturday’s unofficial visit, announcing that decision on Sunday. Here is official announcement:

According to Badgers 247:
Jensen is UW’s fourth commitment in the class of 2024. He joins quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, Texas.), tight end Rob Booker (Waunakee, Wis.), and tight end Grant Stec (Algonquin, Ill.).
Per the 247sports composite, Jensen is the nation’s No. 33 ranked offensive tackle in the class of 2024. In addition to Booker, the Badgers now have commitments from two of the state’s top five prospects, while also currently pursuing Donovan Harbour (Catholic Memorial), Corey Smith (Catholic Memorial), and Nathan Roy (Mukwonago).
Derek Jensen is a Rivals250 prospect, that picked up an offer from the Wisconsin Badgers during a visit in late January. He took two more trips to Madison on March 25 and April 1 for spring camp practices. Derek Jensen stands 6’7″ and weighs 315 pounds. According to Rivals, he is a four-star prospect.
