The Wisconsin Badger are fourth in the Big Ten Conference after the regular season, one spot higher than their finish last season, despite the loss to Penn State.

However, fans are not contented, a feeling they should be having because of the kind of season they witnessed from their squad.
There’s also the anxiety that they might be going the same direction they had in the past seasons when they finished their schedule with a series of bad performances.
The recent loss against Penn State Nittany Lions triggers all of this. The team bowed at home against the lower-ranked Lions, 75-84, after building a 13 point lead early in the first half.

Suspect was their defense as Yanic Konan Niederhauser feasted on them down low with his five dunks, four of them from lobs.
The defense also presented a huge hole as Penn State recorded 21 assists against Badgers’ 11.
Will Wisconsin Badgers trip again? Greg Gard issues challenge
Badgers’ identity this season is their ability to respond to adversities.
There was this one time when bench players stepped up in place of injured Max Klesmit. Jack Janicki got his moment when Kamari McGee. Carter Gilmore made the most out of his playing time.
The season is nearing its end and with this latest setback, Gard hopes his boys will respond accordingly again.
“We’re gonna find out. We’ll see their response,” Gard told reporters after the game.

“Knowing those guys, this is not a good day in terms of that 40 minutes. We have no one to blame, but ourselves, myself included. I’ve gotta continue to push buttons and find ways.”
He also expressed disappointment about the defeat saying they should have gotten it for the senior members of the team and that ‘We’re better than this.'”
