Throughout the week the WIAA Boys and Girls Volleyball brackets are going to be released by sectional and you can find all of them on the Wisconsin Sports Heroics website below. This year we have seen lots of well-improved teams throughout the Wisconsin High School Volleyball Season and on both sides, we will also have a copy of the latest rankings below.
What is Unique about WIAA Boys and Girls Volleyball?
There is one thing that has become unique about Boys and Girls Volleyball in the State of Wisconsin that is the State Tournament for both of them is held together on the same day at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
This year Wisconsin is becoming known for the talent they have in Girls’ Volleyball and some in Boys as well we have several D1 commits out of Wisconsin for Volleyball the two who were recognized by MaxPreps at least once this year were Lily Wagner (Oconomowoc, 2024) who is a Maryland Volleyball Commit and Madison Quest (DSHA, 2025) who is a Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball commit.
Who are the Nationally Ranked Teams From Wisconsin?
Girls: According to the national website MaxPreps the DSHA Angels are ranked #12 in the nation coming in at 40-1 with one game to play. Their one loss was to Chicago Mother McAuley at the Ascis Challenge in a really close match. Mother McAuley is currently ranked #10 in the nation according to MaxPreps. MaxPreps Writer Aaron Williams is the one who comes out with all of the national projections. Oconomowoc was ranked #23 in the nation to start the season for the Girls but slipped out of it but once again they are not far from getting back in it.
