Over 140 high school teams played under the lights on Friday across the state of Wisconsin.
Highlight Games
The Saint Croix Central Panthers had the highest scoring game on Friday night, defeating Spencer-Columbus 70-0. The offense scored seven touchdowns; Noah Nusbaum gained 114 yards on 15 carries and rushed for a TD. Sam Fischer had 56 yards on eight carries with a rushing TD, respectively. The defense was able to keep the scoring alive when Mason Sullivan intercepted a pass with three minutes left in the first half, expanding their lead to 42-0. The Panthers sealed the deal with a blocked punt and Aaron Hage recovered the ball for his very first varsity touchdown.
The Oak Creek Knights had themselves a night on Friday, beating the Union Grove Broncos 52-0. Going into halftime, Oak Creek had a 17-0 lead over the Broncos. The struggling Union Grove defense couldn’t seem to get past the electric offense of the Knights, who ended up scoring 13 in the final quarter of Friday’s contest.
