Allen Lazard got a little heated after scoring a touchdown
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard made a great play in the first half. His touchdown catch in the second quarter put the Packers up 14-3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. The play was a continuation of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers passing offense’s dominance over the Buccaneers in the first half.
But Lazard didn’t appear to be joyous too long after he made the catch. The Packers are dealing with the extreme heat conditions in Tampa Bay Sunday.
Weather alert! My phone says it has gotten HOTTER. 90 degrees now at Packers-Bucs game with heat index of 99!

And the weather seemed to take a toll on Lazard. When Lazard was walking back to the Packers sideline after the touchdown, cameras caught him bending over several times. On one of his stoops, Lazard appeared to release some… bodily fluids… on the Packers sideline.

Let’s hope the Packers’ wide receiver is ok. Lazard, who is expected to be the Packers’ number one wide receiver this season, has two catches for 13 yards as of mid-way through the third quarter. I’ll bet he was given plenty of hydration at halftime so he could come back and have a solid second half. The Packers need Lazard on the field, as the team is working through several injuries at wide receiver.
