Doubs was asked to step up this week as the Packers are without their leading wide receiver Sammy Watkins. And boy did the Packers rookie deliver Sunday. The Packers drafted Doubs in the fourth round of this year’s draft. He had six catches for 64 yards in his first two games for the Packers.
The Packers would go on to dominate the rest of the first half against the shorthanded Buccaneers. Rodgers would find wide receiver Allen Lazard to put the Packers up 14-3. Rodgers has the passing game going so far in Week 3. He has 171 yards passing. He’s found Doubs twice in the first half. The Packers rookie had 4 catches for 44 yards at halftime.
