Vikings vs Packers Recap
Week 8 has wrapped! The Packers fell to 5-2 with a 28-22 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers looked rough on the defensive side of the ball throughout the game today. The offense struggled in the second half scoring only eight points. Dalvin Cook had a huge day for the Vikings against the Packers defense.
The Defense is an issue
The defense gave up a total of 226 yards to Dalvin Cook in the loss. The Packers defense showed signs of what happened in The NFC Championship game last year, having no answer for the run game. The Packers interior play was horrible. Dalvin Cook had over 5 yards per carry. Penalties were a big problem on defense today as well especially in the secondary. The Packers defense didn’t look good at any point of the game today.
The Offense was average
The Packers started off hot with two first half touchdowns and did it in impressive fashion. Rodgers had a decent day with 291 yards and three touchdowns. Adams was held too just 7 receptions and 53 yards, which was surprising because Adams has had huge games against the Vikings. He did have three touchdown catches.
