Former Green Bay Packers running back Tyler Goodson upset Indianapolis Colts fans Saturday night after he made a dire mistake on the team’s final possession of the game. The Colts and Houston Texans faced off in Week 18 to fight for a Wild Card spot.
The Colts were eliminated after Goodson dropped a catchable pass on a fourth and one play with a little over a minute left in the fourth quarter, with Indianapolis trailing the Texans by six points.

Fans and pundits were confused about why Goodson was in the game, as star running back Jonathan Taylor put up 188 yards on the ground and added a touchdown run.
The Packers signed Goodson as a UDFA out of Iowa in 2022. He spent all last season in Green Bay but recorded no stats with the team.
The Packers waived Goodson after training camp in August, around the same time Green Bay was interested in trading with the Colts for Taylor. Goodson’s play Saturday night cost the Colts a playoff birth. We’ll see Sunday if not trading for Taylor cost the Packers a playoff birth.

Tyler Goodson making a mistake with the season on the line. He really did learn from Aaron Jones when he was on the Packers.

Former Packer Tyler Goodson with just about the most brutal drop you’ll ever see. Not a great pass but one he has to catch.
