Green Bay Packers fans turned to social media to vent after linebacker Quay Walker’s unsportsmanlike penalty wound up costing the defense critical points in the fourth quarter. The Packers fought to bring the game within ten points in the fourth quarter after having a slow start Thursday night.
The Lions were driving down the field in the fourth quarter with a 27-17 lead. The Packers defense forced the Lions into attempting a field goal that would have kept it a two-score game. Unfortunately for the Packers, Walker was called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for jumping over the line of scrimmage when the ball was snapped.
The Lions kicked a field goal, but after the commercial break, an Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty against the Packers' Quay Walker was announced, giving Detroit 1st-and-goal.

It was a bad mental error by Walker. And it’s not the first time Walker has made one of those against the Lions.
Walker followed that up by getting trucked by David Montgomery as the running back scored his third touchdown of the night to put the Lions up 34-17.
