After trading down in the fifth round with the Denver Broncos the Packers get a steal with Kingsley Enagbare out of South Carolina. The Packers received the last pick of the 5th round and added to their tally of seventh round picks while getting the Gamecock Edge Rusher. The pick will add depth behind Preston Smith, and Rashan Gary. Huge value in the fifth round. Enagbare is listed at 6’4″ and 258 pounds, but lets look more into who the Packers got.
Wow. #Packers get EDGE Kingsley Enagbare (AKA "JJ") at #179.
Picked him in plenty o' mocks in the 2nd Round.

Kingsley Enagbare
All accounts look to show the value that the Packers got with Enagbare in the 5th round is huge. There is so much we can talk about with Enagbare, but let’s get to the good stuff. Enagbare was first team All-SEC in 2020, and touted a 93.6 PFF pass rush grade. On straight drop back QB plays, Kingsley had a pass rush win rate of 40 percent. The next best Pass Rusher was the second overall pick in this years draft. Yes it was Aidan Hutchinson with a 33 percent win rate.
The one thing that may have dropped him into the 3rd day was his speed(4.87 40). But Learning behind Rashan Gary and Preston Smith will do wonders for the young talent. The Packers may have the luxury of using Enagbare like they did with Rashan Gary. If that is the plan for Kingsley as well, it will only make him better.
The Green Bay Packers pick South Carolina Edge Kingsley Enagbare at No. 179 overall.
