Ian is an avid Green Bay Packers fan. A native Floridian Ian began his love of the Packers after his dad put a post it note on the headboard of his bed. It was the day after the Packers defeated the Patriots in the Superbowl. "35-21 Green Bay Packers" read the post it note. The rest is history.
After trading down in the fifth round with the Denver Broncos the Packers get a steal with Kingsley Enagbare out of South Carolina. The Packers received the last pick of the 5th round and added to their tally of seventh round picks while getting the Gamecock Edge Rusher. The pick will add depth behind Preston Smith, and Rashan Gary. Huge value in the fifth round. Enagbare is listed at 6’4″ and 258 pounds, but lets look more into who the Packers got. https://twitter.com/MarquesEversoll/status/1520487814294605825 https://twitter.com/packers/status/1520490761258782721 Kingsley Enagbare All accounts look to show the value that the Packers got with Enagbare in…
Rashan Gary had a fantastic 2021 season. His growth year to year, and his drive to be the best has garnered him a spot among the best defenders under 25 according to PFF. The Packers were smart about unleashing Gary. It seems to have paid dividends for both sides. Rashan Gary was arguably the Packers best defender in 2021. With Za’darious Smith missing 90 percent of the season, Gary filled in beautifully. Rashan has shown growth in all three seasons as a Packer, and in 2021 led the team with 9.5 sacks. Let’s take a look at the list and who else…
With Davante Adams leaving Green Bay, it’s time for a Pre Draft look at the Packers current Wide Receiver group. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Davante Adams signed with the Raiders and shocked not only Green Bay, but all of the NFL. Davante had nice words for Green Bay and the fans, but at the end of the day, he wanted to play with his college QB Derek Carr. With Davante gone, Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target is no more. The current Wide Receiver group is likely the most unproven in Rodgers time in Green Bay. Let’s have a…
We all know that Jordan Love was taken with the first pick in the 2020 draft, and surprised us all. It’s better to have a QB on your roster than try to scramble and grab someone else’s discarded QB. Love showed in two games during the 2021 season that he has the intangibles. But he’s certainly not ready to be the starter in Green Bay. The Packers know this and are feverishly working on a deal to make Aaron Rodgers not only happy, but the highest paid player once again in the NFL. But He Was A First Round Pick…
It’s the Packers offseason and there’s plenty of drama to talk about. However, I actually want to steer away from all that and continue my “Spotlight On” series. My idea is to highlight players that made major contributions to Lambeau, but may not be as well known today. This past season, a friend and I got to talking about Davante Adams and the Packers’ success on offense. He would repeatedly bring up Sterling Sharpe. I had heard the name before but never knew much about him. It wasn’t until I started to dig into who Sterling was that I realized…
On the same day that Nathaniel Hackett is introduced as the newest head coach of the Denver Broncos the Packers are already looking for his replacement. Thus being said the Packers are set to interview outside candidates for the offensive coordinator job. The Packers job could be very desirable. Although the future offensive coordinator may be without two of the Packers top two stars. Aaron Rodgers is still mulling over his future as a Packer. Davante Adams will get top receiver money. The report is that Adams is looking for 30 million per year. Both players could end up…
The Packers lost a heartbreaking game on Saturday, and it still stings. A big reason is because I was there. The other reason is because after this season, there are no guarantees that Aaron Rodgers remains Green Bay’s quarterback. With the will-he-or-won’t-he saga continuing, there are four things to remember as we await his decision. More specifically, four quarterbacks who left their long-time team after winning at least one Super Bowl, changing a city and gaining the love of so many. There’s no way to tell if Rodgers will leave, but as fans we have to acknowledge that it is…
#1: Enjoy This Season For What It Is The Packers are the one seed and at the end of the day, their loss to the Lions is nearly meaningless. Anything short of a Super Bowl this season is a lost season. We don’t know if Aaron Rodgers played his last regular season game in a Packers uniform. We also don’t know if Davante Adams will look for another suitor, as he will be the highest-paid wide receiver in the league. Rodgers is likely the league MVP and has played out of his mind for another year. I was watching Fox’s…
It’s Week 17, and the Vikings are coming to Lambeau for the annual showdown in the Frozen Tundra. The Packers look to possibly lock up the number one seed for the 3rd straight year. For the Vikings, they look to stay in the playoff race, but with dwindling hopes, their already low chances will be zero with a loss at Lambeau. The Vikings took game one in Minnesota, but the Packers look to avenge that loss in a cold Sunday night game. Clear skies and a high around zero degrees should make for a lovely Frozen Tundra evening. Let’s preview…
On a cold Christmas night in Green Bay, the Packers had four interceptions and nearly let the Browns steal a win. While the Packers did win the game, we learned in Week 16 even more about this team. A win is a win, but let’s talk about what we learned on this Christmas evening. The Packers Could Have Easily Lost Another Winnable Game The Packers should have won that game by two scores. Despite picking off Baker Mayfield four times, the Packers were in a position to lose that game. Rasul Douglas may be the best in season pick up…
