The Green Bay Packers have the tall task of trying to do what the Philadelphia Eagles did last off-season. Taking their roster from playoff caliber to the next level. Green Bay is coming off back to back playoff appearances and are still one of the youngest teams in the NFL.
That being said, fans are ready to see some moves that will address key areas of weakness. General Manager Brian Gutekunst made some comments recently regarding a move like that, and it didn’t sit well with fans.
“I Hate Him” Packers Fans Explode Over Brian Gutekunst’s Comment (Report)

According to multiple sources:
Having a first round pick in the same year you host the draft is a necessity, right? According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
Brian Gutekunst says Mark Murphy told him he can trade their first-round pick despite the draft being in Green Bay.
Gutekunst wants more than the seven picks he has, so safe to say he’s not trading a first for an edge rusher?
Depends who that edge rusher would be,” he said.
Fans were surprised to see that Gutekunst talked to Mark Murphy about trading the first round draft pick:
