NBA News: Milwaukee Bucks fans may be holding their breaths as Khris Middleton has officially declined his player option of $40 million, making him an unrestricted free agent.

While this is not the best news for Milwaukee Bucks fans, there is still a chance Middleton continues to be a Buck for his career.

The expectation is Middleton opted out of his contract to potentially work out a long-term deal with the Bucks when the NBA free agency negotiation period begins on June 30 at 6 p.m. ET. Milwaukee Bucks’ superfan already is expecting a similar expectation.

Middleton has spent the past ten seasons in a Milwaukee uniform and despite his recent injury struggles, the Bucks need to bring his services back if they want to remain a championship level team. More on Khris Middleton’s future with the Bucks will be explored in the next upcoming weeks.
