The Milwaukee Bucks lost two consecutive games entering Thursday night’s road contest against the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee escaped against San Antonio on the road by a final score of 125-121. The Bucks improved to 25-10 on the year and the Spurs fell to 5-29 on the year.

San Antonio is the worst team in the NBA this season and it would have been a bad loss for Milwaukee if they had not won this game, especially since they lost to the Indiana Pacers twice earlier in the week.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Milwaukee Bucks with 44 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, one block, and two steals. Once again, he leads the Bucks in scoring and has been dominant time and time again for them this year.

Damian Lillard also added 25 points and also grabbed four rebounds, recorded 10 assists, and recorded one steal. Khris Middleton also added 12 points and Malik Beasley scored 10 points for the Milwaukee Bucks.

A lot of Headlines in the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs Game Featured Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Victor Wembanyama

Giannis Antetokounmpo was going up against Victor Wembanyama a lot in the Bucks vs Spurs matchup on Thursday night. Antetokounmpo told the media about him after the game by saying:

    “He’s not 7’3, whoever said he’s 7’3 is a liar!”

Wembanyama in the game scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds, recorded one assist, blocked five shots, and also recorded one steal. He was the number one overall selection in the 2023 NBA Draft and many people view him as a generational talent. Victor Wembanyama is one of the favorites to be NBA Rookie of the Year along with Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chet Holmgren.

In the game in the fourth quarter, there is a video that trended on Twitter of Giannis Antetokounmpo being blocked by Victor Wembanyama.

Many people will be talking about the back-and-forth play between Giannis and Victor on Thursday night. In reality, it was just another matchup between the Bucks and the Spurs. It was a much-needed win for the Bucks to get themselves back on track.  It also isn’t a surprise that the defense struggled again in a victory.
