The Milwaukee Bucks will return to game action on Friday night on the road when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. This will be the first game played for Milwaukee since the NBA All-Star break and this basketball game will tipoff at 9 p.m. CT on ESPN.
The Bucks are just 3-7 with Doc Rivers as the head coach and they will need to be better in the second half of the season. Milwaukee enters Friday’s matchup as the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-21 record and they are two games back of the Cleveland Cavaliers (36-18) for the number two seed.

Minnesota enters Friday night’s contest as the number one seed in the Western Conference with a 39-16 record. Chris Finch is the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves and it is very possible he can win the NBA Coach of the Year Award this season for the job he has done with that basketball team.
The Bucks last played on Thursday, February 15, and lost against the Memphis Grizzlies 113-110. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 35 points, grabbed four rebounds, and recorded 12 assists in that matchup.
Damian Lillard scored 24 points, grabbed five rebounds, and recorded seven assists and Bobby Portis Jr. scored 15 points off the bench. Khris Middleton has been ruled out for tonight’s matchup with an ankle injury and there still seems to be no timetable for his return.
Players To Watch For on the Minnesota Timberwolves Against the Milwaukee Bucks

The last time the Timberwolves played, it was also last Thursday, February 15 on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers. Minnesota won that basketball game in convincing fashion by a final score of 128-91. Anthony Edwards led the way for the Minnesota Timberwolves with 34 points, six rebounds, and recorded seven assists.
Edwards was one of two all-stars from Minnesota this season. He is a young superstar in the making in the NBA. The other all-star on that team was Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns scored 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and recorded one assist against Portland.
Rudy Gobert is also another player to watch in this matchup between Minnesota and the Milwaukee Bucks. Rudy Gobert recorded another double-double against the Trail Blazers with 11 points and 12 rebounds, along with recording two assists.

This seems like a bad matchup for the Bucks to be dealing with to start the second half of the season. The Timberwolves are the better basketball team in this one. Milwaukee will fall short and Minnesota will come out on top by a final score prediction of 114-111.
