Milwaukee Bucks veteran Patrick Beverley will not be part of Team USA as the national squad looks to redeem itself and the rest of the nation in the upcoming Summer Olympics. The Americans are coming off an embarrassing fourth-place finish in the FIBA World Cup last summer, and you just know that the team will be looking to make it right in Paris this coming offseason.
Beverley knows that he won’t be representing the country in the prestigious international tournament but apparently, he has a plan in place as to how he can help the squad prepare for their quest for gold.
Milwaukee Bucks Guard Patrick Beverley’s EPIC Team USA Proposal
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Pat Bev explained how he believes he can bring so much to the table for Team USA. According to the feisty veteran, he can turn up the intensity of the practice sessions if USA Basketball decides to call him up for the scrimmage sessions to suit up against the national squad:

That’s actually not a terrible idea. The way Pat Bev delivers his pitch is equal parts hilarious and awesome. You just know Team USA’s scrimmages are going to be different if Beverley’s on the opposing side.
The likes of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, and Kawhi Leonard, to name a few, highlight Team USA’s preliminary 28-man player pool. Damian Lillard and Bobby Portis have also been selected, which should have Pat Bev battling against some Bucks teammates if he gets his wish granted.
