He’s done it. For an eighth consecutive season, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named as part of the prestigious All-NBA Team. The former back-to-back MVP has been included in the first team as well, marking his sixth straight appearance on the top tier.
Joining Antetokounmpo on the squad are Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, and newly-crowned Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo Voted Into All-NBA First Team
The league made the announcement on Wednesday night ahead of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks.
It comes as no surprise that Giannis has once again been included as one of the Top 5 players in the entire league:

The NBA also released the final vote tally for all three All-NBA teams, and it’s Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic who reigned supreme with 495 votes apiece. Giannis wasn’t too far behind with 473 votes to his name:

This is an undeniably incredible achievement for Antetokounmpo, and the fact that he’s been included in the first team for a sixth year running speaks volumes of his consistency.
Knowing Giannis, though, I’m pretty sure he would much rather swap this latest feather on his cap for a chance to still be playing in the postseason right now.
