The last thing the Milwaukee Bucks need right now is another injury to one of their key players. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and Khris Middleton are all dealing with respective issues as the team faces the prospect of seeing their season come to an end on Tuesday night.
Unfortunately, the Bucks have now added Patrick Beverley to the injury report for Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Dealing With Oblique Injury
It’s no surprise that Giannis, Lillard, and Middleton are all on the official injury report. What comes as a bit of a shock, however, is that Beverley has now been added to the list as well.
The Bucks have submitted their first injury report for Game 5 on Tuesday.
Doubtful
Giannis Antetokounmpo (left soleus strain)
Damian Lillard (right Achilles tendinitis)Probable
Patrick Beverley (right oblique muscle strain)
Khris Middleton (right ankle sprain)— Eric Nehm (@eric_nehm) April 29, 2024
The silver lining here is that like Middleton, Beverley is also probable to play. The bad news, however, is that the feisty guard won’t be at a hundred percent as the Bucks look to save their season in Game 5.
Beverley is no star, but there’s no denying that he has emerged as a crucial part of Milwaukee’s rotation, especially with both Lillard and Giannis out of the picture. Pat Bev is a warrior and he will likely play through this injury — particularly with the season on the line for the Bucks.
