Malik Beasley just had his best game as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. The veteran sharpshooter went off for a season-high 30 points with eight (!) three-pointers.
It goes without saying that Beasley played a key role in Milwaukee’s 128-112 blowout win over the Toronto Raptors at the Scotiabank Arena.
Malik Beasley Sounds Off on HUGE Night for Milwaukee Bucks
Beasley was red-hot from the get-go and he finished with 11-of-14 from the field and 8-of-11 from distance. He also logged four rebounds, a steal, and zero turnovers in 31 minutes of action.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was out of action in this one due to a calf injury and someone had to step up in his stead. Beasley definitely got the memo.
Shortly after the final buzzer, Beasley was asked what it is about the Raptors that gets him going. Earlier this season, the 26-year-old drained six triples in Toronto as the Bucks suffered a 130-111 loss. That’s now 14 three-pointers in two games for the sharpshooting guard.
“I’m not sure,” Beasley said. “I’m able to come here and get reps in the morning and things like that. I just feel comfortable (against) certain teams. Certain arenas you just feel good in. I guess Toronto is my new East Coast team that I like to kill.”

And that’s exactly what Beasley did on Wednesday night. The Bucks needed to avenge their blowout loss against the Raptors earlier in the season, and it was great that they did just that even without Giannis in the mix.
