Khris Middleton appeared like a composed man on his farewell message to the Milwaukee Bucks after he was traded to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma.

He said his thanks to the organization that took a chance on him and helped him become an All-Star. He recalled the championship which he said was a magical run, thanked the passionate fans, and ended it by saying it was not good bye but a “thank you.”
He posted it ten days after the trade.
What about the time when he first heard the news?
Middleton was asked by Wizards reporter Josh Robbins about the trade and just like any player who thought they’ve done enough for their team, he was at a loss understanding things.
“A lot of different things going through my mind at the time,” Middleton answered.

Despite the initial emotions, he said that it is all part of the business.
“But they had to do what they had to do on their end. For me, it’s just controlling what I can control, and it’s basketball at the end of the day. It’s just a different place now, a different uniform.”
Will Khris Middleton play versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday?
It would be interesting how Middleton will interact with former teammates and play against them.
He is yet to suit up for the team but he did participate in the team’s first practice since the All-Star break.
He and Marcus Smart joined their new teammates for the first time although Wednesday session did not include a scrimmage.
It is yet to be known when he will be available.
What Wizards fans can expect from him is he is no longer looking back and is ready to help them win games.

“I’m here to be a basketball player. I’m here to win games, here to help win games however I can. I am going to be here as a mentor and whatnot, but I want Wizards fans to know that I’m not here just to be a mentor. I’m here to be a basketball player and compete out there and help win games,” he said.
A previous report said the Wizards are going to keep him so that their young guys can have a mentor that has rich winning experience.
