The Milwaukee Bucks have been pretty banged up of late and unfortunately for them, things won’t change on Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Bucks finally return home following a brutal five-game road trip, but the bad news for them is that they will be without at least one of the most important players on their roster.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton OUT Vs. Timberwolves
According to the official injury report for Thursday’s matchup, Khris Middleton won’t be suiting up against Minnesota. The three-time All-Star was ruled out due to a left ankle sprain, which he sustained in Milwaukee’s last game.
Middleton landed on Kevin Durant’s foot after a three-point attempt, which forced him to exit the game after just eight minutes of action. He looked like he was in considerable pain as he lay on the floor, which is why it comes as no surprise that he won’t be able to play on Thursday.
Middleton isn’t exactly the most robust player out there, so the Bucks could be bracing themselves for an extended absence for the 32-year-old veteran. With the All-Star break coming up, it would not be a complete shock if Middleton ends up sitting out Milwaukee’s next five games before the break, especially if the injury ends up being more serious than initially anticipated.
