The Milwaukee Bucks are moving on without one of the best players in their franchise’s history. Just before the 2025 NBA trade deadline, the Bucks pulled the trigger on a trade that sent Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards in a three-team trade that included the New York Knicks in the transaction.
While it was not as stunning of a trade as the one that switched the places of Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis, Middleton’s departure from Milwaukee was an emotional one for the team’s fanbase, to say the least.
On Thursday, the Bucks finally posted a farewell message for Middleton on their social media platforms, including Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

In 762 regular-season games with the Bucks, Middleton averaged 16.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting 46.1 percent from the floor and 38.8 percent from behind the arc.
