The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a 125-112 defeat against the Portland Trail Blazers last Tuesday, despite a huge outing from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak had 39 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists on 17-for-24 shooting from the field. Co-star Damian Lillard finished with 20 points, three rebounds, and six assists on 7-for-17 shooting from the field against his former team.
Brook Lopez added 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists on 4-for-12 shooting from the field, and Gary Trent Jr. notched 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals on 4-for-11 shooting from the field off the bench.
Portland are now 3-1 against Milwaukee since they traded away Damian Lillard in 2023. To be fair to the Milwaukee Bucks, this is the second night of a back-to-back set.
Milwaukee Bucks fans react to Khris Middleton’s scoreless night
One of the reasons why the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Portland Trail Blazers is because Khris Middleton couldn’t get it going the whole night. After scoring a season-high 22 points against the Utah Jazz, the three-time NBA All-Star missed his two shot attempts in 15 minutes of action, and the fans were not happy with what they saw.
“31 million Dollars. Khris “Make-A-Wish” Middleton,” one fan said on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Did Khris Middleton die or something?”
“Khris Middleton playing the 2nd night of a B2B is elder abuse.”
According to USA TODAY Sports’ Elisha Twerski, this is Khris Middleton’s second game (in three days) where he played 15+ minutes and failed to register a single point or multiple assists.
