Mikal Bridges was up to his usual antics on Monday night as he nearly led the Brooklyn Nets to a win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. held on, though, with Milwaukee securing a tightly-contested 129-125 win at the Barclays Center.

Monday’s contest also presented itself as an opportunity for a handful of former Phoenix Suns teammates to rekindle old flames. Jae Crowder and Cam Payne are now members of the Bucks, while Bridges and Royce O’Neale now rep the Nets.
After the final buzzer, the ex-Suns players got a chance to catch up a bit on the basketball court. Crowder could not let the moment pass without clowning Bridges right to his face:

Crowder was mockingly imitating Bridges’ famed three-point celebration, which the Nets star wasn’t able to bust out profusely after going 1-of-5 on his attempts from deep against the Bucks. Bridges still managed to score a season-high 31 points, though, so it wasn’t a bad evening for him at all.
In the end, however, it was Crowder and the Bucks who prevailed. They held off Bridges’ offensive explosion (and that of Cam Thomas too, who dropped 45 points) to secure their first road win of the season.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Bucks, who will be back in action at home on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. They will be playing two games in two nights with a road game against the Indiana Pacers scheduled on Thursday.
