The last time the Milwaukee Bucks played the Cleveland Cavaliers, Giannis Antetokounmpo ended up being a late scratch due to a shoulder injury. This resulted in the Bucks suffering their worst loss of the season as the Cavs humiliated them, 135-95.
The Bucks host Cleveland again on Wednesday night and unfortunately, Antetokounmpo is still nursing the same injury that forced him to sit out the last time out. As such, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Cavs?
Milwaukee Bucks Have Giannis Listed as Probable Vs. Cavs
Based on the official injury report, Giannis is listed as probable to play on Wednesday night. It’s still the same right shoulder contusion that has put his playing status in doubt, but the fact that he is considered probable to play means that he should be good to go.
Antetokounmpo has been a regular on Milwaukee’s injury report over the past several games with the same issue, but he has been able to play through the knock. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, this should be the case again on Wednesday when the Bucks host the Cavs at the Fiserv Forum.
You can be sure that revenge will be on the minds of the Bucks as they look to make amends for their 40-point loss against Cleveland last week. This should give the former back-to-back MVP all the added motivation he needs to play through his injury again.
So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Cavs, the answer is that it’s highly likely.
