The Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo are getting prepared for the 2024-2025 NBA season. One of the most important things for him this season is to stay healthy throughout the playoffs to give them a chance to win another NBA title.
Antetokounmpo has been in the news for a lot of reasons during the offseason. He will also be making headlines often during the 2024-2025 NBA season as well.
Marc Stein Reveals Rumors About Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo
NBA insider Marc Stein was speaking to NBA executives and the executives believe that Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo and also Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler are two candidates for the next potential blockbuster trade in the NBA. Stein said about Antetokounmpo being traded anytime soon:
“Wishful thinking from teams hoping — as teams have in the past — that the Bucks unravel to the point that the two-time MVP eventually decides to force his way out.”
He is under contract for a few more seasons with the team. Earlier this offseason, the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs, and the New York Knicks were mentioned as teams that were keeping a close eye on the superstar player.
Jimmy Butler Feels More Realistic To Be Traded This Year
There is no chance that the Bucks will be moving off of Giannis Antetokounmpo during the 2024-2025 season, but there is a chance that the Miami Heat could trade Jimmy Butler at the 2024-2025 NBA Trade Deadline. Miami doesn’t feel like a contending team this season in the East.
Butler has a $53 million player option for the 2025-2026 season but could elect to go to free agency next offseason. This could be another reason why the Miami Heat could move off of Butler sooner rather than later. For the people who want Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Bucks anytime soon, too bad too sad.
