The Milwaukee Bucks made a couple of trades before the NBA trade deadline, and none involved Giannis Antetokounmpo. With Milwaukee having a 26-22 record in the NBA and the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, they would face the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs’ first round.
If the Bucks flame out again this postseason, would Antetokounmpo and Lillard be split up after this season? It remains to be seen if that’s the case.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Teammate Demarcus Cousins Thinks That Giannis Antetokounmpo Could Land With Chicago Bulls In the Future
Demarcus Cousins spoke to Michelle Beadle on RunItBackTV about the potential future of Antetokounmpo with the Bucks. He said:
“As his teammate I learned there’s always truth in his humor…if the Bucks don’t work out, I could absolutely see him in Chicago.”
It would be hard to believe that Antetokounmpo would be traded to a team that was within the same division before his contract expired. Now, if he wants to go to Chicago after his contract is up, then that is a different story altogether.

The Chicago Bulls haven’t had a star player since Derrick Rose and a major franchise icon since Michael Jordan. Giannis Antetokounmpo in a Bulls uniform would be a major hit although Bucks fans will not want to see that. Antetokounmpo maybe with the Bucks until the day he retires.
