The Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks have reportedly agreed on a deal that is sending left-handed reliever Andrew Chafin to the Brew Crew. Ken Rosenthal first reported that Milwaukee had interest in him earlier in the day and he was the first to break the trade news.

Andrew Chafin has been traded from the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Milwaukee Brewers (report).
According to a separate source heading to Arizona is a young MLB bullpen arm from Milwaukee in Peter Strzelecki. Strzelecki has struggled this season and most recently had been optioned to Triple-A. John Gambadoro first reported the news regarding Strzelecki.
33 year old Andrew Chafin has a career 3.31 ERA with 19 saves. He is in the first year with the Diamondbacks in which he signed a one year, $5.5 MM deal that includes a $7.25 MM 2024 club option. This year he has a 4.19 ERA in 34.1 innings pitched.
From an advanced statistics standpoint Andrew Chafin is posting career bests in regards to strikeouts. He has 49 total strikeouts, which equates to a 12.8 K:9 ratio and a 32.7% k rate. Walks have been an issue for him as evidenced by a 12% walk rate this year, but he does excel at limiting home runs.
On the mound this southpaw throws two pitches. He has a fastball/sinker that averages 92 MPH and a slider at 84 MPH. He will join Hoby Milner as the only other current left-handed reliever in the Brewers bullpen for Justin Wilson sustained an injury in the bullpen prior to his season debut.
