Milwaukee Brewers rival Chicago Cubs signed former MVP Cody Bellinger on Sunday morning. MLB and Brewers fans are surprised by the move and are wondering if this will affect the team’s chances at a division title and playoff appearance.
Fans are laughing at this because Bellinger reported to want a much bigger contract. Milwaukee Brewers and MLB fans react on social media.

He’s Mr Inconsistent. For that money it’s better to just go with someone else.

30 million for year 1 and 2 with an opt-out option also for both years. Meaning if he puts up outrageous numbers, then he can opt out and ask for a big contract, which I think the Cubs would sign. A little cushion for both Belli and the Cubs on this one. Well done.
