Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Tobias Myers is dealing with an oblique issue. He left his most recent spring training game after feeling a pull in his side. Imaging to determine the severity is the next step, in which so far no news has been revealed regarding his prognosis, but being this close to the start of the regular season a stint on the injured list seems likely.
This puts the Brewers back end of the rotation in limbo. Freddy Peralta, Nestor Cortes, and Aaron Civale will get the ball the first three games. Jose Quintana, if he is built up enough, is likely to take the ball in game four, but the fifth spot currently is unoccupied as Brandon Woodruff will still be working on building up innings and his pitch count.
Recently, the Brewers may have tipped their hand as to who may fill in for Tobias Myers.
Logan Henderson is back in the Milwaukee Brewers big league camp

After being optioned to Triple-A a week ago, the Brewers 13th ranked prospect Logan Henderson is slated to start Monday’s big league game. According to David Gasper of Athlon Sports, manager Pat Murphy was quick to mention Henderson as an option in wake of Myers’ injury.
An interesting development, Logan Henderson is listed as the Brewers starter for Monday’s game at San Diego.

More about Logan Henderson

Milwaukee loves selecting JuCo arms in the draft and Henderson is one of them, being selected in the fourth round of the 2021 MLB Draft. His fastball and changeup are his go-to pitches, with the heater sitting 91-94 MPH and the changeup possessing significant movement/fade. A season ago he made 19 starts, tossed 81.1 innings, had a 3.32 ERA, and struck out 104 batters.
Outside of Henderson, Milwaukee could also turn to guys like Tyler Anderson, Elvin Rodriguez, Chad Patrick, or Carlos Rodriguez. Should the Brewers elect to go with someone else, like Jacob Misiorowski, a 40-man roster move would have to be made.
