The Green Bay Packers are one of the oldest and most accomplished franchises in the history of sports. In the NFL, no team has won more league championships and very few can say they have a history that goes back as long as theirs. As such, the Packers have had fans, not only all over the country, but all over the world for years.
Of course, Green Bay’s oldest rival is the Chicago Bears. They played their first game against each other on November 27, 1921, a game that the Packers lost 20-0. Now, over 100 years later, both teams have a fair representation of fans in what they would call “enemy territory.”
On Sunday afternoon, Packers quarterback Jordan Love, wide receiver Romeo Doubs, running back Josh Jacobs, and several Green Bay legends found out first-hand just how popular their team is within the greater metro area of Chicago.

Over the weekend, there was a weekend-long event in Shaumburg, Illinois, not far from Chicago. This event, hosted by GTSM shows had several Wisconsin-based memorabilia business, such as Waukesha Sports Cards and E5 Sports, in attendance.
The Packers’ players and legends that were available at the event for autographs and phots was quite the list:
- Jordan Love
- Romeo Doubs
- Josh Jacobs
- Antonio Freeman
- Dorsey Levens
- Sterling Sharpe
- Dave Robinson
- Don Majkowski
On Sunday alone, a few thousand people came out to meet and greet the Packers’ players.

Of course, Jordan Love drew the biggest crowd of people for photographs and autographs. Entering his second season as Green Bay’s starting quarterback, Love is coming off of a year that saw him complete 64.6% of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also had a 96.1 passer rating.
Wide receiver Romeo Doubs appeared at the event following his incredible announcement at a charity event in Delafield, Wisconsin on Friday. Below, he is pictured with Packers Hall of Fame wide receiver Antonio Freeman.
Running back Josh Jacobs was signed in the offseason and will be the number one backfield option for Matt LaFleur’s offense. Jacobs was the 2022 NFL rushing leader and a First Team All-Pro.
A Note on Waukesha Sports Cards
Waukesha Sports Cards has been in business for over 40 years. In speaking with their assistant manager this morning, it was revealed that Love is, and has been, their highest selling player in terms of autographs and memorabilia for some time now.
