The Green Bay Packers are being doubted to win the NFC North this season by various sportsbooks, including BET MGM. Earlier this offseason, Green Bay had the third-best odds to win the division, but things change in the sports betting world.
Green Bay Packers Now Tied For Worst Odds to Win NFC North
Just recently, the Green Bay Packers moved to now tied with the Chicago Bears for the worst odds on BET MGM to win the NFC North this season at +400. Chicago had the worst record in the NFL a season ago and Green Bay just had Aaron Rodgers last season, but a lot has changed this offseason.
The Detroit Lions are the current favorites to win the division at +130 odds and the Minnesota Vikings have the second-best odds to win the division this season at +280. The Green Bay Packers will have to defy the odds in to prove their doubters wrong.
It is understandable to have Green Bay behind Detroit and Minnesota in the gambling odds. It is another story altogether having them at the same odds as Chicago. They must feel as if the Bears and the Packers are evenly-matched football teams and that Justin Fields will be the reason why the Chicago Bears stay out of the cellar.
The sportsbooks must not be sold on Jordan Love for the foreseeable future. They must be having recency bias toward how good Justin Fields has looked this preseason compared to Jordan Love. A lot will be told when the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears in Week 1.
Green Bay has owned Chicago over the past several years. A lot of people believe that the Chicago Bears will be a lot better this season and that the Green Bay Packers will regress.
Green Bay Packers Being Disrespected?

A season ago, the Chicago Bears had the fourth-worst defense in the NFL, giving up 375.9 yards per game. The Green Bay Packers defense was in the middle of the pact last season at giving up 336.5 yards per game. The defense is one sign that Green Bay will be better than Chicago this season.
On offense, Chicago only averaged 307.8 yards per game last season, which was also the fifth-worst in the NFL. Green Bay’s offense averaged 337.9 yards per game last season, which was ranked 17th in the NFL. The offense didn’t exactly light it up a season ago with Aaron Rodgers. This could be the reason why Vegas thinks they will be bad also.
