Even though he hasn’t spent much time on the field lately, Aaron Rodgers still has a way of making the news. The thing is, the Green Bay Packers legend’s recent remarks about United States president Joe Biden during a Tucker Carlson interview might have rubbed people the wrong way.
Rodgers first entered the NFL as the Packers’ 24th pick in the 2005 Draft. After a slow start to his career as a backup quarterback, the former California Golden Bears star got the starting QB job after Brett Favre was traded to the New York Jets.
Since then, Rodgers has led Green Bay to consistent appearances in the playoffs and made the Packers a dominant force in the NFC division. His career would reach its pinnacle when the Packers won the Super Bowl in 2010 with him as the starting quarterback against the Pittsburgh Steelers. For his effort, Rodgers won that year’s Super Bowl MVP.
Along with that accolade, Rodgers won four MVPs, received four First-Team All-Pro selections, and made 10 Pro Bowl appearances, among others. After his 17-year run as the Green Bay Packers quarterback, Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets and missed most of his season there due to an injury.
Green Bay Packers Legend Aaron Rodgers Mocks Joe Biden In Recent Tucker Carlson Interview
Aaron Rodgers is no stranger to controversy due to his various takes on medicine and politics. His recent opinion on Biden, though, has left many disappointed after the Green Bay Packers icon mocked him in a Tucker Carlson interview posted by Charlie Kirk on X:
Aaron Rodgers: “I’d love to see Joe Biden give an interview where he can speak on the history of the United States in the same way Putin talked about the history of [Russia.]”@TuckerCarlson: “I’d love to see Biden do an interview where he shows how to operate a microwave.” pic.twitter.com/UvJGhoa5iA

Just recently, Carlson went to Russia and interviewed Vladimir Putin. The former Fox News host was criticized for his choice of topics to talk about. For his part, Rodgers praised Carlson’s interview by saying the Russian president came off as a thoughtful and smart individual.
Even though Rodgers was blasted for his opinion, this is nothing new for the former Packers quarterback. It remains to be seen how his recent comments will translate to his performance on the field when the new NFL season starts.
