The Green Bay Packers will have the no. 23 pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and they have several options on how to go with the draft selection.
One option is to improve their defense. After firing defensive line coach Jason Rebrovich two weeks ago, the Green Bay Packers could use their first-rounder to reinforce their defensive line.
The Green Bay Packers could use an infusion of talent on their defensive line, as Kenny Clark is fresh from a disappointing 2024 season and TJ Slaton is headed to the free agent market.
CBS Sports analyst Chris Trapasso recently suggested that Green Bay look at the SEC for their guy.
Green Bay Packers to select Omarr Norman-Lott with the no. 23 pick in CBS’ latest mock draft
Trapasso listed Omarr Norman-Lott as the Green Bay Packers selection because he is one of the most NFL-ready players in the class.
“Omarr Norman-Lott has an NFL frame and won routinely on the inside of Tennessee’s defensive front in 2024. He’ll be an instant plus starter next to former first-round pick Devonte Wyatt,” Trapasso wrote in his column.
In his second season with the Tennessee Volunteers, Norman-Lott recorded 18 total tackles and four sacks. The 22-year-old received a 69.4 overall grade by the PFF.
