There are not many NFL wide receivers who can boast playing with as many high-profile quarterbacks as former Green Bay Packers pass catcher Marquez Valdes-Scantlings (MVS) can. Drafted by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, MVS spent the first four seasons of his career with the Packers catching passes from future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
When Green Bay declined to bring him back following the 2021 NFL season, he signed a four-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, with whom he won two Super Bowls. Of course, there he was catching passes from another future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback in Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs released MVS following the 2023 season for salary cap purposes, and he subsequently signed with the Buffalo Bills to play with Josh Allen in 2024.

Unfortunately for MVS, his time with the Bills did not last long. In six games with Buffalo, he caught just two passes (on nine targets) for 26 yards.
Following his release from the Bills, MVS signed with the New Orleans Saints for the second half of the season. In doing so, he saw a pretty decent level of success.
In eight games with the Saints, the former Packers wide receiver had 17 receptions for 385 yards and four touchdowns.
However, New Orleans decided not to bring him back again in 2025.
Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling Has Signed with the Seattle Seahawks

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Seattle Seahawks had signed former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold. However, they also released wide receiver Tyler Lockett and traded two-time Pro Bowler DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Suddenly in need in pass catchers, the Seahawks have signed MVS to a one-year deal:

What makes this an intriguing signing for Seattle is that MVS saw his improved play last season in New Orleans come under the guidance of their then-offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. Now, Kubiak is the offensive coordinator for the Seahawks.
