“By All Means Sign With The Vikings”: Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre Suggests Next Move For Aaron Rodgers

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre was one of the most polarizing players in the history of the franchise. When he left the Packers, he played for the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers also played for Green Bay and has also played for the Jets for the last two seasons. With Rodgers being a free agent this offseason, it has been reported that he is going to go sign with either the New York Giants or the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, could another team emerge in the Rodgers sweepstakes? The Vikings could be looking for a new starting quarterback next season.

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre was on FOX News to talk about the future of Aaron Rodgers on the Will Cain Show. Favre said about the odds of Rodgers signing with the Minnesota Vikings,

“By all means sign with the Vikings, they’re loaded at pretty much every position.”

Minnesota has made several key signings this offseason already. One of the biggest moves they made was signing defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and offensive lineman Will Fries. The Vikings are getting better in the trenches and they also have one of the best wide receiver tandems in the NFL in Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

T.J. Hockenson is the starting tight end and Rodgers would be reunited with former Packers running back Aaron Jones. Kevin O’Connell is also one of the best head coaches in the NFL right now. Rodgers’ last season with the New York Jets completed 63.0% of his passes for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

Aaron Rodgers to the Vikings for the veteran minimum makes sense. This would be a legacy move for Aaron to rehabilitate his image and give MN options in case of injury at the QB position.

Once in a lifetime opportunity to make happen. Go do it, this is still JJ’s team but come on man this is to great to pass up. Maximize our chances this year to win a championship then JJ for the next decade.

I’d want to be in Minnesota if I were Rodgers.

    But Minnesota doesn’t want Rodgers

Why is Favre getting any kind of publicity…….oh it’s Fox News

    Fulfill the prophecy 🙌🏻

The Minnesota Vikings plan on starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy next season and he is only 22 years old. However, if Minnesota doesn’t feel like starting him right away, then Aaron Rodgers would be the right move. The Vikings finished with a 14-3 record last season. If they were to sign Rodgers, this would be the best chance for them to win a Super Bowl title also.
