The Green Bay Packers have a 9-3 record this season, largely because of their offense. According to FOX Sports, the Matt LaFleur-coached squad boasts the third-best offense in the NFL, averaging 382.8 yards per contest.
The Green Bay Packers are eighth in passing offense at 234.3 yards per contest and 23 passing touchdowns. They are also fifth in rushing offense at 148.5 yards per contest and 12 rushing touchdowns.
Speaking on NFL on ESPN, former NFL wide receiver-turned-analyst Andrew Hawkins gave Matt LaFleur and the players their well-deserved plaudits.
“People wonder how they’re doing so well without a true No. 1 wide receiver. This group is so incredibly well-coached. It is literally my favorite receiving core to watch on film because they do everything great,” Hawkins explained on NFL on ESPN.
“They’re great in their technique. Their effort is always there. They play well without the ball in their hands. They’re competitive as hell. They play with such an accountability, such a chip on their shoulder, and (they have) no ego,” he added.
Who is leading the Green Bay Packers offense this season?
The Green Bay Packers own one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL, mainly because of the superb play of their quarterback Jordan Love, and running back Josh Jacobs.
Jordan Love has amassed 2,518 passing yards and 20 touchdowns for a 95.4 pass rating in the 10 games he has played. Josh Jacobs, who joined the team via free agency last summer, is the team’s top rusher with 987 yards for an average of 4.5 rushing yards per carry.
Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Tucker Kraft, and Christian Watson lead the Green Bay Packers in receiving yards: 693, 483, 480, and 450 yards, respectively.
