Green Bay Packers rival Minnesota Vikings are 0-3 to start the 2023 season, and Kirk Cousins’s name is mentioned once again in NFL trade rumors. Cousins’ name will continue to be in trade rumors because he will be a free agent at the end of the season, and it is very possible that he won’t get re-signed.
In three games this season for Minnesota, he has thrown for 1,075 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions. Kirk Cousins has not been the reason why the Vikings are 0-3. They are not getting the same luck as they did a season ago in one-possession games when they won the division with a 13-4 record.

It appears as if there are a couple of teams rumored to land him, like the New York Jets and possibly the Las Vegas Raiders. The Atlanta Falcons are another team mentioned in Cousins’s trade talks as well. On nflanalysis.net, there is one NFL team that could potentially be interested in him that Matthew Schmidt mentioned.
Green Bay Packers Rival Potentially Sends Kirk Cousins Back to the Washington Commanders

Cousins potentially being traded back to where his NFL career would be very interesting. The Washington Commanders having him in uniform would potentially be very good. At the current moment, Sam Howell serves as the starting quarterback for Washington, but he struggled big time in a 37-7 loss against the Buffalo Bills.
Howell has made four career NFL starts, and it appears as if they want to stick with him for the full season, but what if he struggles for the next couple of weeks? With new ownership around and head coach Ron Rivera potentially coaching for his job this season, they are going to want to win games and potentially get back to the playoffs.

They haven’t been to the playoffs since 2020, when they went 7-9 and won the NFC East. That is one of six trips they have made to the postseason since 1993. The Washington Commanders have a very good receiving core with Jahan Dotson, Terry McLaurin, and Curtis Samuel. Brian Robinson Jr. and Antonio Gibson are the top running backs, and when healthy, Logan Thomas is a reliable tight end.
Washington is currently 2-1 on the season, and some of the teams they will face in the month of October are the Philadelphia Eagles twice, the Chicago Bears, the Atlanta Falcons, and the New York Giants. The Commanders will also need to face the Dallas Cowboys twice later in the season. Kirk Cousins could very well wind up in a Washington Commanders uniform if the Minnesota Vikings don’t turn it around in a hurry and if Sam Howell struggles because Jacoby Brissett is not the answer for them.
