The Green Bay Packers suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday following a heartbreaking 25-24 loss at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons. Jordan Love wasn’t exactly the best quarterback in the NFL against Atlanta, but Green Bay’s new QB1 was able to turn in another relatively strong performance that has the fans looking forward to seeing what else this young man can do at the helm the rest of the way.
Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love Keeps it Going in Week 2

There are probably more than a few folks out there who would argue that Love looked like the elite quarterback the Packers expect him to be — at least at certain points in the game. The 24-year-old is clearly still a work in progress, and his botched QB sneak attempt late in the fourth quarter is a testament to this fact. Nevertheless, Love did enough to prove that he has what it takes to take over the reins in Green Bay now that Aaron Rodgers is out of the picture.
Love finished the loss with 14-of-25 completed passes for 151 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. More of the same will be expected from Green Bay’s new QB1 in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints as the Packers look to bounce back from their loss against the Falcons.
Jordan Love Enters Elite Company

Apart from giving Green Bay fans a lot to cheer about on Sunday, Jordan Love also entered elite company after throwing for three more touchdowns in Week 2. That’s now six TDs in his first two games of the season for the former Utah State standout — an achievement that has him joining Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre for the most touchdown passes in Packers franchise history:

There are only three players on that list, and two of them are either already in the Hall of Fame or well on their way to being inducted in the not-so-distant future. The third player is Jordan Love, and it’s an undeniably huge honor for him to be mentioned in the same breath as these two legends.
