Ever since the Green Bay Packers were eliminated from the NFL Playoffs by the Philadelphia Eagles, who are now representing the NFC in Super Bowl LIX, Jordan Love and other star players have been on the recruitment trail, hoping to convince free agent or otherwise available veteran players to find their way to Green Bay in 2025.
One of the biggest names that multiple Packers players are trying to recruit (without tampering) is former Green Bay wide receiver Davante Adams. Since their season ended, Love, Xavier McKinney, and Josh Jacobs have all made suggestions about how great it would be to bring the three-time All-Pro wide receiver back home.
And, for his part, Adams seems to be open to a reunion as well. The problem, though, is that he is still under contract with the New York Jets.
Under contract or not, however, does not seem to make a difference to Love. He recently went on a pretty notable podcast trying to lure the Pro Bowl host to Green Bay.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Told Dallas Cowboys Star Micah Parsons to Join Him in 2025

In addition to wide receiver, one of the positions that the Packers need to address this offseason is pass rusher. While they finished in the top-10 in the NFL in sacks (44), they were near the bottom of the league in pressure rate.
Jordan Love seems to think that current Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons, a four-time Pro Bowler, would be a great fit in Green Bay. And he told the Cowboys star so:

As one can see, Parsons asked Love if there were any players in the NFL specifically that he wanted to shout out on his podcast in an effort to recruit them to the Packers.
Love responded, “I mean, the dude sitting right next to me. You know what I mean, man? That’d be pretty cool, don’t you think so?”
Parsons, though, is scheduled to play his fifth-year option with the Cowboys (worth $24 million) before hitting free agency in 2026. If the Packers want to add Parsons, they will have to give up substantial draft capital in order to get him.
That being said, Dallas gave Dak Prescott the richest contract extension in NFL history last year, and made CeeDee Lamb the second-highest paid wide receiver in the league. Between the two, they will account for over $90 million of the Cowboys’ salary cap every year for the next several seasons.
They may not have the money to re-sign Parsons. If he does indeed hit free agency, he will be highly sought after by many NFL teams. Green Bay could be one of them.
