The Green Bay Packers are on the outside looking in when it comes to the NFC playoff picture after their brutal Week 15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even after their Monday Night loss to the New York Giants, fans were optimistic that the team would bounce back.
That wound up not being the case. A Baker Mayfield-led offense came into Lambeau Field and hung 34 points on the Packers’ defense. After the game, one defensive star appears to have wiped his social media of nearly everything related to the team.
Green Bay Packers Star Removes Most Packers Contest From His Social Media After Loss To The Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Following Sunday’s loss, fans started to notice that star cornerback Jaire Alexander’s Instagram account looked a little different:
Well shit. pic.twitter.com/5KKTHy9rat
— A 💚💛🏈🤟 (@boboddyz) December 18, 2023
Alexander’s Instagram isn’t completely wiped of Packers content, his profile picture and most recent most features him in a Packers uniform. However, his Instagram only has two posts currently, significantly less than what it had yesterday. Including multiple posts relating to the Packers.
The Jaire Alexander Situation Has Been Weird
Alexander went down with a should injury on November 5th when he dove for a tipped pass against the Los Angeles Rams. On top of being inactive over the last five games, he didn’t travel with the team to New York when they took on the Giants.
The reason it has been “weird” is because Alexander was never placed on injured reserve (IR). That would have guaranteed a four game absence. When a player is on IR they don’t count toward the active roster.
Clearly, Jaire was never placed on IR because they figured he would return before that four week mark. All of this coupled with Alexander’s unique answers during his interviews has made many question whether or not he wants to be back on the field this year with the team. Now that is a huge accusation, and Alexander has never stated he doesn’t want to be a member of the Green Bay Packers.
Hopefully Alexander is able to get back on the field soon and all of this is water under the bridge.

Any quarterback can look good against Joe Barry’s defense!!
I’m 67years old, been a Packer fan since 1966, I’m thinking I would look good as quarterback against Joe Barry’s Defense. 🤔
I think Matt Leflur should be “Fired” also, after all isn’t He responsible for Joe Barry miserable weak inferior Defense?????
