The Green Bay Packers had no Pro Bowl players in 2023 and they were one of four teams to not have a selected player for it. One of the noticeable players who was not selected for the Pro Bowl this season was quarterback Jordan Love.
Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, and Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers were the three NFC quarterbacks who were selected to it. There is no issue with Prescott and Purdy being selected, Stafford seems to be another story altogether.
Love this season so far has completed 63.1% of his passes for 3.843 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Matthew Stafford has completed 62.6% of his passes for 3,965 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Stafford only had two games this season of three or more touchdown passes and Love had five of those. They have the same amount of interceptions and Love has thrown for more touchdowns with less talent around him.
Green Bay Packers Fans React to Quarterback Jordan Love Being Snubbed From the Pro Bowl
There will be many more chances for Love to be selected for the Pro Bowl. The NFC quarterback play was not that strong this season and some could argue that Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff was also snubbed, just like Love.
Anyhow, Packers fans reacted on Twitter when they saw Love was snubbed from the Pro Bowl.
Jordan Love got Pro Bowl snubbed and turkey leg snubbed in the same year smh https://t.co/JO1UGofChV

Jordan Love should have been in the Pro Bowl over Matthew Stafford. pic.twitter.com/sUTTp8UF1J

Jordan Love should have been in the Pro Bowl over some of these QBs but 🤔

A lot of Packers fans seem to be in agreement that Love was snubbed in place of Stafford. This could light a fire under Love even more ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Chicago Bears. However, this should only be the beginning of his long career. The Packers fanbase should be arguing about Love being a Pro Bowl snub rather than arguing who should they draft at quarterback in 2024.
