The Green Bay Packers upset the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night football. Near the end of the game, there was a pass interference no-call on Carrington Valentine that drew the ire of many on social media. The broadcast even talked about how it was a missed call. Valentine had an epic response when he was asked about the no-call.

Green Bay Packers Carrington Valentine On No-Call
“I don’t know what PI you talkin’ ’bout. I ain’t see no flag on the field,” Valentine said after the game. He isn’t wrong. The refs did not throw the flag so it wasn’t pass interference. This was just one of many calls on the last drive that were questionable but at some point, teams have to win despite the refs. Patrick Mahomes took the high road when asked about the no-call saying that, “at the end of the game, they let the guys play. I’m about that.” While fans and analysts will debate about the no-call, the players are moving on.
No Jaire, No Problem
Jaire Alexander was trending to play throughout the week. He was at three straight practices and the way defensive coordinator Joe Barry was talking about the game plan, it seemed like he was going to play. However, the shoulder apparently wasn’t healed enough and the team decided to sit him. This left Carrington Valentine and Corey Ballentine as the corners and they played well again. Holding the Chiefs to 19 points is something to be proud of even in a year when the Chiefs’ offense isn’t as scary.
Carrington Valentine has been one of the great stories of the 2023 season. As a seventh-round pick, the expectations weren’t high but he has exceeded them and given the Packers more hope for their young team.
