The Green Bay Packers have moved on from a number of wide receivers over the last few years. Of course, Davante Adams was the most notable of the bunch when he was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders during the 2022 off-season. However, the Packers have moved on from a number of other notable wide receivers over the last few seasons. One of them has officially signed with a new team.
Former Green Bay Packers Starting Wide Receiver Signs With New Team
According to XFL journalist James Larsen:
According to the FOX Sports roster page, the USFL Stallions have also added WR Amari Rodgers out of Clemson.
After the Packers waived him last season, Rodgers signed with the Houston Texans. At the end of the season, Rodgers was somewhat successful as a wide receiver for the Texans.
In 33 career games with the Colts (2023), Texans (2022) and Packers (2021-22), he has caught 20 passes for 249 yards and one touchdown. He has also rushed three times for 18 yards, returned 40 punts for 305 yards (7.6 average) and returned 17 kickoffs for 321 yards (18.9 average).
