Green Bay Packers had a haul in the 2025 NFL draft and these youngsters are expected to contribute to the team right away. However, one of them hit a snag after an injury barred him from joining physical activities.

Savion Williams, one of the two receivers picked by the team, entered the offseason from TCU Horned Frogs with a shoulder injury. The Packers signed him anyway but they had to limit his participation on team activities.
He’s had a surgery already and now, according to recent reports, he is ready to roll.
Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber wrote:
Three members of the Packers’ draft class limped into Green Bay as rookies arrived for the start of training camp on Friday, but there was one piece of encouraging news.
Not found on any of the injury lists reported by the Packers was receiver Savion Williams. The third-round pick, who spent the offseason program in a non-contact red jersey, has been cleared, according to a source.

Williams played four seasons with TCU and had his best year in 2023 when he led the team in yards gained with 573 yards. He also had 41 receptions and four touchdowns.
Green Bay Packers training camp schedule
The training camp will start on July 23 and the team will miss some prominent guys. Among them is Quay Walker who is on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Another is Christian Watson who is still recovering from his season-ending knee injury from last season. He is expected to miss a significant number of games for 2025.
Elgton Jenkins is also set to miss the training camp due to a non-injury reason but insider Tom Pelissero said that he and Walker are due to be activated anytime soon.
