Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 2023 NBA All-Star Game appearance was brief: 20 seconds of playing time, one made shot and a foul. The injured wrist, of course, limited the Greek Freak’s playing time in this year’s contest, but he was still able to fulfill his starting role that he was voted.

Giannis is the highest scoring player (by average) in ASG history
Two: Even though he only scored two points in the game, Giannis retained his #1 spot as the player with the highest career points per game average in ASG history. Giannis entered the game with a 29.0 ppg in six ASG. The two points in this year’s game dropped his average to 25.1, just ahead of Kevin Durant’s average of 25.0. Four: Giannis made the only shot he took in the game. He is now 81-for-113 in field goal attempts in his ASG career, a shooting percentage of .717. That is the second highest career field goal percentage in ASG history (minimum of 60 field goal attempts). He is second behind Blake Griffin whose ASG career FG percentage is .750 (45-for-60). Anthony Davis is third at .706.
