Profootballnetwork.com Thinks That Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Romeo Doubs Could Be Worth the Waiver Wire Pickup In Fantasy Football For Week 15
Fantasy football writer Jason Katz for profootballnetwork.com created a list of different players in Yahoo leagues who could help fantasy football owners in the playoffs. For the wide receiver position, he thinks that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is worth the pick-up. He is only owned in 38% of Yahoo Leagues. Katz said about Doubs:
“We haven’t seen Romeo Doubs in a couple of weeks due to a concussion. With 10 days between Thursday Night Football and the Green Bay Packers’ next game, there’s a good chance Doubs will clear it.
It’s hard to predict the performance of Packers WRs from week to week, but Doubs has been useful in the past.
The Packers’ three final opponents of the fantasy season rank 16th, eighth, and first in terms of favorability for WRs. Doubs could be useful in a pinch.”
On Wednesday, it will be interesting to see whether or not Doubs is on the practice field. If he is on the practice field, then he will be on the right track to play on Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks.
Jayden Reed Leading Receiver
In the last game against the Detroit Lions, Jayden Reed did not have a catch. Even with Romeo Doubs returning, quarterback Jordan Love may target Reed early to get him involved. Reed this season with the Packers has caught 44 passes for 693 yards and six touchdowns, along with averaging 15.8 yards per catch. He also has been targeted 59 times.
It seems as if different receivers are leading the pack each week. It wouldn’t be a bad idea for fantasy football owners to pick up Romeo Doubs for Week 15, but it would be wise to wait until the injury report comes out to pick him up if you don’t own him on your fantasy football rosters.
